Job Description:
Fidarsi is partnering with an established Wealth Manager to recruit a Training and Competency Manager. The role involves supporting the HR team by managing the training and competency department.
Key duties include:
* Implementing and overseeing an effective Training & Competency scheme
* Providing tools and support for employee training and compliance
* Ensuring investment managers hold appropriate qualifications
* Maintaining CPD records and liaising with training bodies
* Managing relationships with training providers and coordinating training sessions
* Collaborating with HR, Compliance, and other departments to maintain accurate records
* Preparing and delivering annual competency assessments
* Handling regulatory referencing, onboarding, and rescreening
* Supporting annual appraisals and new starter inductions
* Managing internal and external online training programs
* Providing management information for committees
* Training team members for coverage during absences
* Participating in ad hoc projects
* Administering appraisals and certification processes
* Tracking compliance with mandatory training and certifications
* Recruiting and interviewing candidates
* Fostering a coaching culture
* Designing blended learning solutions and various training interventions
* Talent management and workforce analysis
* Monitoring regulatory changes and maintaining HR systems
* Organising FCA training requirements and delivering face-to-face training
Experience and skills required:
* Strong relationship management and influencing skills
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Knowledge of FCA regulations (TC, SYSC, COBs, APER, FIT)
* Previous experience in a similar role
