Occupational Therapist - Band 5
Salisbury Therapy Services is seeking a talented Band 5 Occupational Therapist, whether new or experienced, to support developing patient pathways and new projects within our medium-sized, friendly District Hospital. Immediate vacancies are available within our Band 5 rotation, including core rotations and opportunities in regional centres such as the Spinal Rehabilitation Centre and Burns & Plastics.
As a Band 5 Therapist, you will develop your core skills in assessing, treating, and managing a caseload across various wards and departments. You will operate within broad occupational policies and be responsible for your own actions. You will also monitor and support Therapy Assistants and contribute to service improvements.
We welcome applications from undergraduates qualifying in the summer, with flexible start dates, potentially beginning in an assistant role pending HCPC registration.
Your development is a priority, with access to supervision, mentorship, internal leadership training, and opportunities to contribute to service development and staff training.
Applicants should be HCPC registered, hold a BSc, Diploma, or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, and have NHS experience, including clinical placements. Experience with a variety of conditions is advantageous.
