Deputy General Manager – Automotive Logistics
Location: Thorne, South Yorkshire
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 per annum + £3,900 Car Allowance

Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, supporting operational teams to implement effective improvement plans.
2. Develop and manage a resource planning model to assist in informed decision-making on labour and subcontract requirements.
3. Act as the second-in-command, deputising for the General Manager during absences and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
4. Standardise operational processes and introduce best practices across multiple sites.
5. Deliver quality-driven processes, innovation, and operational excellence while reducing waste and optimising efficiency.
6. Research and recommend operational improvements, including layout enhancements, IT system solutions, and resource planning strategies.
7. Provide strategic Quality and CI support across the network, aligning operations with customer KPIs and maximising financial benefits.
