Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and enforce SHEQ policies that ensure compliance with legal and industry standards
Conduct risk assessments, manage non-conformance, and implement corrective and preventative actions
Coordinate employee safety inductions and ongoing training programs
Ensure compliance with SHEQ-related accreditations (e.g., Achilles UVDB, ISO9001, ISO14001) and manage audits
Investigate incidents or accidents and oversee workers compensation claims where necessary
Capture, analyse, and report SHEQ performance data to drive improvement
Collaborate with operational teams to integrate SHEQ considerations across all projects and operations
Maintain, review, and continuously improve SHEQ documentation, processes, and procedures
Essential
Qualifications & Experience:
Professional qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH
Proven experience in SHEQ management, ideally in the Water or Construction sectors
Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and environmental regulations

Additional
Salary: Day rate on a self employed basis or a permanent contract
