Job Title: SHE Advisor
Location: Glascoed, South Wales
Salary: £53,928
What you’ll be doing:
* Advising and reviewing manufacturing processes and associated documentation
* Overseeing internal and external auditors/investigators
* Leading the way with safety discussions
* Supervising and advising on SHE issues including wellbeing and occupational health
* Proactively supporting continuous improvement ideas for the production area
* Being an active member of an incident and emergency response team
* Liaising with other functions at all levels within the business including external organisations and regulators
* Keeping up to date with current and changing legislation
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Holding the NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards)
* Completed the NEBOSH Certificate or Equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety
* Experience and knowledge of different types of Risk Assessments e.g. COSHH, PUWER, LOLER
* Hands-on experience of conducting accident and incident investigations and audits
* Background in a heavy engineering environment
Desirable:
* Experience working in a highly regulated industry i.e. COMAH, Chemical, Gas

The Site SHE team:
Step into a pivotal role as a SHE Advisor at a high-performing, upper-tier COMAH facility where safety is at the heart of everything we do. You’ll lead SHE initiatives, deliver training, review risk assessments, and inspire a positive safety culture across manufacturing and engineering teams. Reporting to the SHE Manager and managing a SHE Coordinator, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
