What you’ll actually do in this role: Work closely with teachers across a variety of subject areas, building their confidence, effectiveness, and innovation in the classroom. At the Lewes Campus includes teaching on the L5 Apprenticeship route. At the Hastings campus includes to teach on the L3 14 week course Co-design and deliver high-impact CPD, coaching cycles, and developmental observations. Pilot and evaluate new T&L strategies, including those involving digital or AI-enhanced practices. Closely work with the Quality Assurance team to ensure teachers are engaged with and compliant with college expectations. Support curriculum teams to embed principles like stretch and challenge, assessment for learning, strong starts/meaningful ends, and inclusive practice. Play a key role in driving up standards, but do it through inspiration, not inspection If you can demonstrate the following then we’d love to hear from you: A recognised teaching qualification at either L5 or L6 (PGCE, CertEd, Apprenticeship etc.) A solid track record of excellent teaching. A ‘can-do’ attitude is a must! But just as importantly, we want you to show us your values, vision, and drive for education.
