Job Overview
To be an effective member of a multidisciplinary School Nurse/Health Visiting Team that promotes the health and wellbeing of children in a designated caseload. To provide and organise a comprehensive, high-level, efficient, accurate, and prompt administrative service to the School Nursing/Health Visiting Team and assist in the smooth running of the service. The post holder deals with highly sensitive and confidential issues affecting clients and their families.
As a member of the Administration Team, a flexible approach to the post is essential to enable prioritising different workloads and duties.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to carry out duties with tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity. Make sound decisions and judgments using initiative and level of authority as agreed with Line Manager.
Knowledge and understanding of the structure, policies, management, and operational procedures within the Administration Office and for the Health Board as required, in dealing with internal and external enquiries confidently and competently.
Main Duties of the Job

* Prioritise workloads flexibly as part of the Administration Team.
* Communicate effectively with tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity.
* Make sound decisions and judgments using initiative and authority as per Line Manager's guidance.
* Understand the structure, policies, management, and operational procedures within the Administration Office and the Health Board.
* Deal confidently with internal and external enquiries.
* Desirable: Ability to speak Welsh.
