Job Description
🚀 The Job Mission
This is a site-based role, embedded within the HPC Project Team.
You'll ensure supplier-installed systems meet all handover and commissioning requirements.
Your mission is to drive readiness, quality, and delivery in Electrical system handover.
⚡️ Coordinate technical reviews of EESR documentation and support walkdown inspections
⚡️ Manage and optimise system handover and takeover procedures
⚡️ Guide Joint Ventures in Electrical EESR preparation and documentation
⚡️ Build and maintain the electrical system handover schedule
⚡️ Organise and lead walkdowns and punch list categorisation meetings
⚡️ Support resolution of EESR comments and punch list close-outs
⚡️ Proactively identify installation faults and push for early resolution
⚡️ Provide FTC, TFI, and TFM documentation for Electrical systems
Qualifications
🛠 Essential Skills
🛠 Strong electrical, I&C, or electronic engineering background
🛠 Experience in installation, commissioning, or operational support
🛠 Proven background in regulated industries like nuclear or oil & gas
🛠 Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks
🛠 Effective troubleshooting and fault resolution skills
🛠 Degree qualified in relevant engineering or science subject
🛠 Strong stakeholder coordination and influencing capability
🛠 Ability to work across multi-discipline project environments
✔️ Desired Skills
✔️ Chartered Engineer or equivalent status
✔️ Previous nuclear power project experience
✔️ Knowledge of safety case and substantiation processes
✔️ Familiarity with UK licensing and Intelligent Customer principles
✔️ Experience leading or mentoring technical engineering teams
