CTCCU is looking for enthusiastic, motivated nurses to join our dynamic team. It is a bedded unit providing level two and three care to patients following cardiac, major aortic, and thoracic surgery, as well as those with acute cardiac medical conditions. This environment is challenging, exciting, and supportive, facilitating the ongoing development of your critical care skills. Opportunities include developing expertise in invasive and non-invasive ventilation, weaning, ventricular assist devices, cardiac output monitoring, haemofiltration, advanced ECG interpretation, and IABP therapy.
Applications from newly qualified nurses are welcome. Part-time positions and flexible working patterns are available.
Successful candidates will undergo a supernumerary period with mentorship and a comprehensive competency-based development package. This role offers scope for significant professional and personal growth, with ongoing education in both cardiac and thoracic nursing.
