A well-established, mid-sized Lloyd’s syndicate is seeking an experienced Delegated Claims Authority (DCA) Claims Manager to join its growing Claims function. This is a key role responsible for the oversight, governance, and performance management of delegated claims arrangements across a diverse international portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee all Delegated Claims Authority (DCA) relationships, including TPAs, coverholders, and other delegated partners
* Ensure compliance with Lloyd’s minimum standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance frameworks
* Conduct regular audits, reviews, and performance assessments of delegated claims handlers
* Act as the primary point of contact for DCA-related queries, escalations, and operational issues
* Collaborate with underwriting, compliance, and operations teams to ensure effective oversight and alignment
* Drive continuous improvement in delegated claims processes, controls, and reporting
* Maintain accurate MI and reporting for internal stakeholders and Lloyd’s where required
* Support onboarding and due diligence of new delegated arrangements
Experience Required:
* Proven experience in Delegated Authority Claims within the Lloyd’s/London Market
* Strong understanding of DCA frameworks, bordereaux processes, and regulatory expectations
* Experience managing TPAs and/or coverholder relationships
* Solid technical claims knowledge across one or more relevant classes of business
* Experience conducting audits and reviews of delegated claims functions
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Desirable:
* ACII qualification or progress towards
* Exposure to international claims portfolios
* Experience working within a syndicate environment
