Interim Finance Business Partner | 6 month FTC | Salary £55,000-£65,000
The Role:
This role will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of our growing business division. This role combines the strategic insight of a finance business partner with the technical expertise of a systems accountant. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure financial stability, operational efficiency, and data integrity, with a focus on ensuring financial systems and processes are fit for purpose.

Financial Planning and Analysis:
Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and forecasting.
Provide insightful analysis and reporting on financial performance, identifying key trends and opportunities.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Business Partnering:
Support the team and wider business with all business partnering activities ensuring the finance team are seen as a trusted advisor to senior management and business units, providing financial insights and recommendations.
Facilitate effective decision-making through financial analysis, scenario planning, and risk assessment.
Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics. Systems and Process Development:
Lead the implementation and optimisation of financial systems and processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Design and implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Coordinate with IT and other stakeholders to integrate financial systems with operational platforms.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Manage the year-end audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring the timely completion of audit deliverables.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in finance and professional accounting qualification.
Experience in manufacturing environments, demonstrating an understanding of the unique financial challenges and processes within the industry.
Proven experience in a finance business partner or systems accountant role, ideally within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Strong understanding of financial systems, ERP implementation, and process improvement methodologies.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and reporting tools.
