Tenancy Compliance Advisor Peterborough / Remote £32,928 (In probation) rising to £34,661 plus car allowance Our client has a really great opportunity for afull time Tenancy Compliance Adviser to join their Neighbourhood Management teamwith the purpose of promotinga positive landlord/ tenant relationship, based on compliance with the tenancy agreement, through engagement with residents, early intervention, and monitoring of agreements to address poor property conditions. You will primarily be based from home however this role involves frequent tenant visits in the Peterborough area so you will need to be within travelling distance andhold a full UK driving licence and to have access to a suitably insured vehicle for business use. Core responsibilities include: Responsibility for monitoring tenant compliance with property compacts designed to improve property conditions; developing positive relationships with residents to ensure that objectives identified within the property compact are met. Understanding and implementing their standards for property condition fairly and consistently. Identifyingpatterns of non-engagement, lack of progress and/or disguised compliance when addressing poor property condition and escalating to Neighbourhood Managers for further action. Managinga caseload of anti-social behaviour cases requiring early intervention, namely neighbour disputes, parking issues and concerns for drug use/ smell that affect residents quality of life. Implementing early intervention strategies to swiftly address non-compliance with the tenancy agreement and support residents experiencing anti-social behaviour. Maintaining contemporaneous records of resident contact and actions within their databases, including recording cases of anti-social behaviour. To supply evidence when required to support legal enforcement action. Ensuring that records are maintained in accordance with the principles of data protection. Proactively managingand ensuringthat tenancy processes and procedures are carried out in accordance with legal requirements, statutory timescales and their policies, meeting specific Key Performance indicators. Proactively safeguarding children and adults by identifying potential safeguarding concerns, working in partnership with the Neighbourhood Manager to ensure timely referrals are made to statutory agencies.
