Description:
Communities for Work Plus is a Welsh Government programme tackling poverty though sustainable employment providing intensive employment mentoring and support. C4W+ is supported by Welsh Government funds. It will deliver intensive mentoring and employment support services in Torfaen as well as other operating Boroughs throughout Wales. The programme focuses on reducing the number of 16-24 year olds who are NEET and increasing the employability of short term unemployed, economically inactive and long term unemployed adults who have complex barriers to employment.
You must have experience of coordinating the administrative and financial functions of a busy team and building and maintaining effective and supportive relationships with peers and partners. You will have a knowledge of performance management, monitoring processes and an understanding of confidentiality and data protection issues along with experience of managing equality, diversity, and inclusion. A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential, you will be able to work as and when required to include weekends and evenings.

Qualifications / Experience:
Essential
1. An understanding of customer service in a service delivery setting and experience of working in a community service or setting.
2. Educated to a high level of education, Level 4 or above.
3. Knowledge of performance management, monitoring processes and an understanding of confidentiality and data protection issues.
4. Knowledge of required software programmes, such as Microsoft Office and experience of administrative support such as running an office.
5. Minimum of 2/3 years experience of working in an Administrative/financial role.
6. Experience of effective partnership working with statutory and non-statutory organisations.
7. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, staff and stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.
8. Ability to coordinate the administrative and financial functions of a busy team and build and maintain effective and supportive relationships with peers and partners.
