Overview
This exciting role is all about making sure our clients’ content thrives online. You’ll plan, schedule and manage organic posts, working closely with our designers and content creators who’ll support in crafting the visuals, and you may even get involved in creation too. You’ll keep communities engaged, track performance and share insights that help campaigns improve and align with marketing strategies. You’ll help shape how social media continues to grow in Spring’s offer, exploring what’s next and influencing the overall strategy of the agency.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and schedule organic content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and other platforms in line with the wider marketing or brand strategy
* Upload and publish posts with accuracy and attention to detail
* Monitor channels daily, responding to comments and community interactions in line with agreed approach
* Track performance and share insights in clear reports with clients and your colleagues using everyday language focusing on key metrics and KPIs
Collaboration and Content Creation
* Work with designers and creators to make sure content is on brand and campaign ready, recommending placement and approach to support thinking
* Writing copy for posts inline with brand voice, key messaging and overall strategy
* Where expertise and skillset allows, involvement in generating visual content
* Share performance insights that influence wider marketing strategy
* Communicate directly with clients as needed, providing recommendations and updates that align with the strategy and objectives
* Contribute to proposals and pitches where social media is key in the strategy, ensuring recommendations are evidenced, data-driven and achievable, voicing opinions on the approach where appropriate and helpful
Expertise and Accountability
* Take the lead in meetings where organic social media updates are the primary discussion, or where project critical information or insight is needed or to be delivered. This can be internal or with clients or suppliers
* Offer guidance or support to colleagues where appropriate to support the overall growth of the agency
* Stay tuned into social trends and new features to keep content fresh and relevant
Ownership & Accountability
* Take responsibility for your part of projects ensuring deadlines are met, work meets the brief and within scope, and quality is uncompromised
* Maintain a high level of attention to detail, proactively reviewing and refining your work before submission, owning any feedback loops, taking critique constructively and actioning revisions efficiently
* Contribute ideas that enhance the agency’s social media offer and support the wider growth of Spring
* Maintain awareness of budget constraints and ensure efficient allocation of time and effort across projects
