My client are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their busy law firm. This is a fast-paced role supporting the Senior Legal Cashier with day-to-day accounts and finance duties. Previous accounts experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Senior Legal Cashier with daily accounting tasks
Process client and office account transactions
Handle billing, receipts, and payments accurately
Maintain accurate financial records and filing
Assist with bank reconciliations
Support compliance with legal accounting procedures and regulations
Respond to internal queries from fee earners and staff
Carry out general accounts administration as required Skills and Experience Required:
Previous experience in an accounts role (essential)
Experience in a law firm or legal accounts environment (desirable)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational and time management skills
Confident using accounting systems and Microsoft Office
