The role we’re hiring for is a Business Development Manager to join our team based within a commutable distance to Bromsgrove. This role will see you developing business within targeted sectors such as FM, housing and end users promoting our maintenance expertise within the Fire & Security arena.
What you receive for joining us:
We’re looking to offer a salary starting at £40,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on industry experience with a very achievable OTE of up to £65,000K. In addition, you’ll receive 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and because we know how special your birthday is, you’ll get an extra day off to celebrate. A standard pension contribution is also included along with a company car or allowance, whichever suits you best. The role ideally will be office based in Bromsgrove; however, we understand people like to work hybrid so at least two days in the office is required.
Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing:
Identify and generate new business opportunities within the security sector, attending events as and when required, to build lasting relationships with new and potential customers for both installation and maintenance sales
Take over and manage current open contracts and client accounts, ensuring strong relationships are built and maintained for continued business growth
Work closely with the fire side of the business to convert hot leads from clients seeking both fire and security services, ensuring seamless cross-selling and business growth
Proactively exceed annual sales revenue and margin targets, ensuring consistent growth in both installation and maintenance services
Can you show experience in some of these areas:
Proven sales experience in electronic security systems, including intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV, with a consistent track record of achieving annual sales targets
Strong technical knowledge and system design capability, with broad product expertise across the electronic security sector
Excellent account management skills, with a proven track record of maintaining relationships and maximizing sales opportunities within existing accounts
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a track record of generating strong revenue through both new business and existing account growth
