About this role
We are seeking an experienced product manager to define and lead our strategy around marking and evaluation. We have ambitious plans to expand our assessment portfolio and capitalize on the digital assessment market across the learner journey. This role will oversee the product strategy for RM Assessor, our award-winning e-marking tool, and the marking module within Assessment Master, our digital assessment platform. The focus will be on improving user experience, accommodating various marking models, and increasing the value provided to users.
You will report to the Head of Product and collaborate with a talented team of product managers, designers, and innovators, along with delivery teams based in our RM India office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to be part of a purpose-led company transforming learning and assessment.
Responsibilities
* Own the overall success of your product(s) and the product group.
* Understand customer and user needs, the competitive landscape, and business strategy.
* Define and refine product strategy, vision, value proposition, and roadmap.
* Lead cross-functional teams to develop, launch, and improve products.
* Advocate for your product internally and externally.
* Engage with stakeholders and manage product profitability and growth.
As a senior team member, you are expected to:
* Demonstrate product management best practices to develop your team and the wider community.
* Ensure strategic alignment across product portfolios for a seamless customer experience.
* Coordinate with other product stakeholders, reduce dependencies, and remove blockers.
Experience & Skills
* Proven experience working within cross-functional teams to develop and manage products/services.
* Ownership & accountability, with determination and self-motivation.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, with empathy and collaboration.
* Strategic and commercial thinking, aligned with business goals.
* Passion for education and experience with data reporting or data products is a plus.
