As we continue to evolve and modernise our operations, we’re now seeking a Divisional Health & Safety Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our next phase of growth and maturity.
The Opportunity
This is a senior, multi-site leadership role within our UK Meals division — responsible for leading health and safety across a diverse portfolio of manufacturing sites.
We’re looking for a true business partner: someone who can combine strategic vision with hands-on leadership to build a proactive, solution-focused safety culture across the division.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and influence the health and safety agenda across multiple large-scale food manufacturing sites.
* Conduct maturity assessments to benchmark divisional performance against world-class standards.
* Develop and implement a forward-looking H&S improvement plan that drives ownership, accountability, and engagement at all levels.
* Partner with site leadership teams to embed best practice and ensure consistency across the network.
* Provide expert, pragmatic guidance that supports both compliance and operational delivery.
* Coach and develop site H&S teams, driving alignment and capability growth.
* Report into the Operations Director and collaborate closely with Group on divisional H&S strategy and transformation.
* Champion continuous improvement, auditing, and cultural change initiatives.
About You
We’re looking for a dynamic, credible leader who can balance strategy with delivery and bring energy and expertise to this transformational journey.
You will ideally have:
* Proven H&S leadership experience in multi-site food manufacturing or FMCG environments (large scale).
* A track record in transforming or modernising health and safety functions.
* Strong experience in auditing, maturity assessments, and continuous improvement.
* Relevant qualifications: NEBOSH and HACCP essential.
* A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset — comfortable influencing at all levels.
* This role could also suit an ambitious individual ready for their first divisional leadership position with the right capability and drive.
