Senior Care Assistant (Nights)

Hours:
Full-time, 34 night shifts per week (7:30pm7:45am), including alternate weekends
Full UK driving license necessary
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced
Senior Care Assistant
to join our night team at a welcoming residential care home in the Brigg area. You will play a key role in supporting residents wellbeing while leading and guiding the night staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the care team to maintain excellent standards of care.
Administer and record medication accurately.
Promote residents independence, dignity, and choice.
Ensure all documentation and care charts are completed to a high standard.
Provide clear communication and leadership during shift handovers.
Support and mentor team members, promoting good practice throughout the home.

Requirements
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care
Minimum two years experience in a care or nursing home setting
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of person-centred care and safeguarding
Able to commute within approximately 30 minutes of the home
Desirable:
NVQ Level 4 or higher in Health & Social Care
Experience caring for residents with dementia
Previous experience in a senior or leadership role within a care home
Familiarity with care standards and best practice frameworks
