Overview
Specialist Physiotherapist (Rotational) West Network position at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. Band 6 Physiotherapist role based at West Cumberland Hospital, offering a varied urban, coastal and rural setting with access to the Lake District. Rotations are 6 months across all in-patient specialisms and a range of community-based roles including musculoskeletal out-patients/community rehab. The post requires a dynamic, innovative physiotherapist who has completed core band 5 rotations and can demonstrate leadership and service development, with an ability to contribute to rehabilitation interventions and support admission/discharge processes to optimise patient flow.
Responsibilities
* Provide a range of rehabilitation interventions across in-patient specialties and community settings.
* Demonstrate leadership skills and contribute to service development and improvement initiatives.
* Support prevention of admission and discharge planning and help optimise patient flow through the system.
* Work flexibly with system partners to achieve the best outcomes and experiences for patients.
* Engage in rotations that cover multiple settings (in-patient and community) and collaborate with the Physiotherapy team.
Qualifications and Experience
* Band 6 Physiotherapist with completed core band 5 rotations.
* Ability to demonstrate leadership and involvement in service development.
* Experience in a range of rehabilitation interventions and understanding of patient flow implications.
Working Environment and Location
