What’s The Role About
As a Hire Operations Manager, you’ll lead and support a team of hire professionals across your region. Your main goal? To help your teams deliver brilliant service, grow sales, and be the go-to hire partner for the best builders in town.
From managing equipment and improving operations to building great customer relationships and coaching colleagues – you’ll be at the heart of making it all happen.
What Will You Be Doing
* Driving strong commercial results and supporting teams to hit revenue and profit targets
* Creating and delivering sales and customer plans across your area
* Coaching teams to provide excellent customer service every time
* Making sure our hire stock and equipment are well managed and used efficiently
* Helping to improve how we work by using data, KPIs, and customer feedback
* Working closely with Branch Managers, Regional teams and Sales to grow our hire business
* Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues
* Promoting a strong safety-first culture in everything you do
What Are We Looking For
* Experience leading or supporting multi-site teams (hire or trade sector experience ideal)
* Strong understanding of sales, service, and operational performance
* A natural leader and coach who enjoys helping others grow
* Confident using data to make decisions and drive results
* Great communication and relationship-building skills
* A hands-on, solution-focused approach with a commercial mindset
