An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and compassionate nurse to join the Uro-Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist Team at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as an Associate Uro-Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse looking to develop specialist expertise in both malignant and benign urological conditions within a supportive and progressive team. You will work closely with our experienced Clinical Nurse Specialists, Lead Uro-Oncology Nurse Practitioner, and Consultant Urologists to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
1. Working autonomously within nurse-led services with support from the multidisciplinary team (MDT)
2. Providing expert assessment, evaluation, and coordination of care for urology patients
3. Supporting patients and their families throughout the care pathway
4. Communicating effectively across the MDT to ensure seamless service delivery
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive nurse who is passionate about urological care and keen to develop within a specialist role. Strong communication skills, the ability to work well within a team, and a commitment to ongoing professional development are essential. Ideally, applicants will have recent experience in the care of patients with urological conditions.
