Location: Care First – Pheasey, Walsall area, Birmingham - The Clinical Team will support the provision of services across a number of sites within Walsall, Kings Norton and Walsall.
Salary: up to £60,000 depending on experience plus £3000 Welcome Bonus (Welcome Bonus is payable as one payment of £1,500 after completion of one month and one further payment of £1,500 upon completion of your final probation period. T&C's Apply)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, hours to overlap with core school hours (Part time hours may be considered)
Contract: Permanent (Term time only, or flexibility around full-time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances)

Responsibilities
* Contribute to bespoke assessment and intervention plans for the adults we support.
* Support the provision of services across a MDT including collaboration with Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy.
* Participate in the growth of an enhanced psychological therapy offer through supporting apprentices, students and therapy assistants.
* Deliver training to different cohorts and engage in research projects and professional development opportunities.
* Adhere to service policies, MDT and Clinical Governance structures to support future development and ensure quality assurance.
Essential Criteria
* HCPC registration
* Doctoral level degree in Clinical/Counselling/Forensic/Educational Psychology (or equivalent if qualified prior to introduction of relevant Doctorate)
* Relevant experience in related settings or with related client groups
* Experience of effective multidisciplinary working and communicating with families/relatives and carers
* Ability to develop formulations, write clinical records, and deliver interventions
* Excellent time management, organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple demands
* Full driving licence and access to a car; willingness to travel
Desirable
* Experience with client group (e.g. neuro-diverse and/or social, emotional and mental health) and setting types (schools or residential care)
* Experience providing supervision
* Knowledge of current philosophies and legislation affecting clinical practice
* Post-qualification training in relevant topics and evidence-based interventions
