We are currently recruiting for a Food & Beverage Supervisor at Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels. Brandshatch Place is a renowned country house spa hotel in Kent, nestled within 12 acres of parkland and gardens, providing a boutique home-away-from-home with convenient access to London for business or leisure.
Responsibilities
* The role of a Food and Beverage Supervisor involves preparing food and beverage service areas to Hand Picked Hotels standards, ensuring high standards of presentation are maintained.
* Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens and preparation style; provide accurate and enticing descriptions and recommendations based on guest preferences.
* Assist in working towards departmental goals, contribute ideas, and be open to new ways of working.
* Take personal ownership and operate within role parameters.
* Maintain a good knowledge of the wine list and stock availability; understand principles of food and wine matching, grape varieties and flavours.
* Demonstrate a positive, engaging attitude and enjoy being part of the Hand Picked team.
About You
* Current knowledge and experience of food and beverage within a quality driven hotel, restaurant or hospitality environment.
* Enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities.
* Flexible approach to assist in different areas of the hotel as business and guest needs dictate.
* High level of emotional intelligence to anticipate guest needs and deliver a Hand Picked experience.
* Ability to deliver our guest experience standards, going above and beyond to create high-quality, personalised and memorable experiences.

* A competitive salary package of £32,905.60 per year, plus a share of service charge.
* Full-Time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week (varying with business needs).
