As a Product Director for Oracle and Postgres within IP Product Management, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. You will partner with engineering leads for our private and public cloud Oracle and Postgres products and oversee all product management work focused on meeting the demands of over 1,200 critical applications.
Job Responsibilities
* Oversee the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets.
* Lead the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets such as cost, features, reusability, and reliability.
* Coach and mentor the product team on best practices including solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind‑mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and delivery.
* Own product performance and be accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives.
* Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and identify opportunities for product differentiation.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
* Significant expertise in delivering products, projects, or technology applications.
* Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics.
* Extensive knowledge of database technologies, especially Oracle and Postgres and related infrastructure.
* Experience working in a regulated environment where meeting all risk and controls requirements is critical.
* Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
* Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions.
