Description POSITION SUMMARY Autograph Collection and Tribute Portfolio Hotels are a collection of boutique, lifestyle, upper upscale and some luxury independent hotels around the world, hand selected for travelers appreciating a unique approach to hotels and experiences. Autograph Collection launched in 2010 with U.S. - based hotels; Tribute Portfolio launched in 2015 as a brand of legacy Starwood Portfolio Hotels. For the Autograph Collection & Tribute Portfolio the Director will play a key role on the team with a focus on NRG ITR, working closely with the Senior Director Premium Brands VP Brand Management New Brand Product, Premium, Select midscale Brands continent stakeholders with a focus on development, conversions, openings and global design teams. The core responsibilities for the position include: Growth – In conjunction with the VP Conversions and the development teams, ensure that the right hotels are considered for the Collection Brands; reviewing potential deals and assist with Property Improvement Plans, educating potential owners on the benefits of Collection Brands and their unique branding approach. ITR – Drives the end-to-end guest experience for the Collection Brands to ensure brand programing, brand standards and proof points are aligned with hotel positioning and the premium segment and drives positive guest satisfaction. Individuality – Ensure existing and potential hotels in the Collection Brands have a unique and defined brand positioning in alignment with the core pillars of Autograph Collection and Tribute Portfolio. Source and maintain branding agencies capable of assisting hotels in developing their positioning. Execute brand strategic goals and ensure brand goals are achieved by working in close partnership with team members from development, LPO and commercial. Experience in developing independent brands and partnering with global brand management, global design and development teams strongly preferred. University degree required Proven track record working with senior executives in a consultative manner. Experience of dealing with hotel owners and investors. Consistent track record of advancing business direction and strategies. Experience in EMEA markets preferred. Language requirements: High proficiency in English is required. Additional language knowledge or proficiency is desirable. Strong presentation and communication skills. Ability to handle the complexities of working with owners and key stakeholders.
