About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team leading on the professional development of Teaching Assistants across Ceredigion. The role will contribute directly to the delivery of the national Teaching Assistant Learning Pathway (TALP), ensuring that Teaching Assistants are provided with meaningful opportunities to develop their skills and work towards Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status.
You will:
1. work closely with the Ceredigion School Support Advisor, MWEP and Partneriaeth officers to deliver the TALP programme
2. co-design a professional learning programme tailored to the needs of Teaching Assistants in Ceredigion
3. support local candidates working towards achieving Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, organised and experienced individual who:
4. has a strong understanding of the education sector and the role of Teaching Assistants
5. has experience of working collaboratively with a range of educational stakeholders
6. possesses excellent communication and planning skills
7. is capable of building effective working relationships and inspiring others in their professional development
