Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist – Slough Community Mental Health Pathways Service
Position based at New Horizons, Slough; work includes community and flexible/remote working where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage an outpatient caseload of adults with severe, complex and diverse mental health needs.
* Act as Responsible Clinician, including Mental Health Act work and Community Treatment Orders.
* Lead and contribute to MDT allocation and clinical decision‑making.
* Provide supervision, mentoring and leadership to junior doctors and SAS colleagues.
* Work with senior managers on service development, CQC preparation and Royal College accreditation.
* Support quality improvement, co‑production, teaching and clinical governance.
