Pre-Construction Manager – Cut & Carve or Concrete Frame Experience Head Office: Harrow | Projects: Central London Permanent | Competitive Salary Package / will consider contractors with steady history A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager with a strong background in cut & carve or concrete frame projects. Based out of our Harrow head office, you’ll be involved in major schemes across Central London, managing the front-end process of some of the capital’s most complex and technically demanding builds. About the Role: You’ll lead and coordinate pre-construction activities—taking schemes from concept through tender, and into early delivery. Your focus will be on ensuring buildability, programme efficiency, and cost-effectiveness for challenging structural packages. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the pre-construction phase for structural refurbishment and/or RC frame projects. * Collaborate with estimators, planners, design managers, and delivery teams. * Review tender documents, identify risks and opportunities. * Develop construction methodologies, logistics strategies, and sequencing plans. * Liaise with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners throughout the pre-construction lifecycle. What We're Looking For: * Experience in cut & carve, structural alteration, or concrete frame construction. * Strong technical knowledge and an understanding of complex structural logistics. * Background in either main contracting or subcontracting will be considered — provided you have a consistent and stable work history. * Confident communicator, comfortable leading multi-disciplinary teams and engaging with clients.
