TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is supporting a fantastic firm of chartered accountants based in Faversham, Kent, who are searching for a Personal Tax Manager to join their highly successful tax team. Our client focuses on owner-managed businesses and HNWIs across the Southeast, and you will be responsible for:
1. Managing a portfolio of personal clients with complex tax affairs, focusing on UK individuals, HNWIs, and some trusts.
2. Tax planning projects such as non-domicile issues, onshore and offshore trusts (and other structures), capital gains, and inheritance tax issues.
3. Reviewing and completing more complex tax returns.
4. Overseeing your team's compliance functions and ensuring all deadlines are met.
5. Managing HMRC enquiries and dealing with HMRC correspondence of both compliance and advisory nature.
6. Managing junior staff, including supporting their technical and personal development.
7. Supporting Directors with the growth and development of the tax department.
Requirements
Personal Tax Manager Faversham
* Ideally CTA and/or ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified, with experience in personal tax within an accountancy practice or specialist tax firm.
* Experience in a mix of Top Tier, Top Ten, 50, larger regional independent firms, or specialist tax firms, focusing on personal tax with strong compliance and tax planning skills.
Salary & Benefits
* £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience and background, negotiable.
