Job Role: Regional Sales Manager – HPC & AI
As a member of the EMEA Sales team for HPC and AI, the Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business relationships with prospects and resellers across the region. The role focuses on growth within the UK and beyond, requiring a proactive 'hunter' mentality, high motivation, and determination.
You should be a strong team player capable of working independently, with a positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile. Previous experience in the M&E industry is essential to effectively communicate the company's innovative solutions.
The role reports to the Solutions Architect Director and involves collaboration with Sales Engineering and marketing teams.
Main Responsibilities
* Identify and qualify prospective customers in the region
* Work directly with prospects and through resellers to generate new business
* Manage meetings with end-users and resellers independently
* Collaborate with the Sales Director, Solution Architect, and GTM teams
* Ensure reseller/partner engagement and target achievement
* Support resellers in closing opportunities with marketing and product information
* Conduct cold calls, seek project opportunities, respond to RFPs to acquire new customers
* Lead lead-generation campaigns to secure meetings and opportunities
* Present DataCore products and value propositions to HPC and AI prospects
* Represent DataCore at local events, trade shows, and forums
* Achieve sales quotas and KPIs; provide weekly revenue forecasts
* Travel within the region (~25%)
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional education
* 2-5 years of field sales experience in HPC and AI industries
* Understanding of HPC and AI technologies; knowledge of cloud and SaaS models is a plus
* Experience presenting and negotiating with C-level executives
