The Business Development Executive will play a key role in supporting the sales function, with a strong focus on client engagement, order coordination, and accurate data management. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the role involves maximising the potential of existing customer accounts and contributing to the achievement of ambitious growth objectives. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities, while helping the team deliver outstanding customer service and drive continued business expansion. Salary - £30,000 benefits pack On-site parking The Role Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries, responding promptly and professionally across all channels. Provide ongoing sales support through email, telephone, and in-person interactions. Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for account growth and proactively addressing concerns. Schedule and participate in client meetings, ensuring all discussions are accurately documented and followed up. Support the Head of Commercial in achieving growth targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within strategic markets. Conduct market research on key growth sectors, including competitor brands and target retailers. Onboard new clients by liaising with internal teams such as procurement, logistics, accounts, and quality. Receive and process client orders efficiently, ensuring a smooth and professional service. Organise product samples in collaboration with the NPD (New Product Development) team. Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations to clients as required. Create and maintain accurate records in the sales database to ensure up-to-date client information. Compile and present monthly sales reports to track performance and support decision-making. Assist in the development of marketing and promotional materials to support sales initiatives. Monitor industry and product trends, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the company's offering and market developments. Communicate client feedback to relevant departments to help shape service and product improvements. Perform general administrative duties to support the smooth operation of the commercial team.
