We are currently seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years Supply Teaching Assistant to work across a variety of weing and inclusive nurseries and primary schools in the Sefton area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a play-based, child-centred environment and ismitted to helping children flourish.
Role Details:
1. Position: Early Years Supply Teaching Assistant
2. Location: Sefton, Merseyside
3. Contract Type: Flexible supply (day-to-day and short-term roles)
4. Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
5. Salary:petitive, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
6. Supporting children in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with their learning and development
7. Assisting with play-based activities and early literacy/numeracy tasks
8. Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
9. Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
10. Supporting children with additional needs, where required
Requirements:
11. Experience working in an Early Years setting (nursery or reception class)
12. A relevant childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above preferred)
13. A warm, caring, and patient approach
14. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
15. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
