What Will the role involve?
They are expanding their operational team and are now reaching into the current market to recruit a Senior Project Manager with proven experience in United Utilities waste water framework experience and associated civil engineering works. This will be very much a client-facing role. The successful candidate must have the ability to be an ambassador for the Company, always presenting a professional attitude towards the client. You will have experience in the management of construction projects in a Civils capacity on various Waste Water projects. You will review and ensure that an appropriate Quality Plan and Inspection and Test Plan are in place prior to site works commencing and regularly review Quality documentation to ensure accurate Quality records are being maintained, as per the client. You will work collaboratively with the client, design partners, internal staff, sub-contractors, operatives, and other professionals and be responsible for all aspects of health and safety, quality and environmental assurance, contract administration, cost control, planning, communication, and people management.
What Key Skills & Experience Are We Looking For?
1. Essential Experience in: waste water/excavation/groundworks/concreting/drainage
2. Minimum 10 years’ experience in a site supervisory role
3. HNC/HND/Degree qualification in construction-related studies
4. Minimum Gold Card CSCS accreditation
5. SMSTS 5-day accreditation
6. Minimum 3-day first aid accreditation
7. Full Clean Driving Licence
8. Temporary Works Supervisor accreditation
9. NRSWA Supervisor / Lantra 12D accreditation
10. SEATS accreditation (Site Environmental)
11. Good working knowledge of the construction industry and of all relevant trade disciplines
12. Good understanding of the CDM regulations
13. Good understanding of NEC Form of Contracts
