Overview

We are recruiting for a dedicated Claims Handler to join our Gallagher Retail Commercial Broking Division within our Property Claims team, based in Chichester. In this role, you will work directly with our Real Estate clients and our suppliers, providing high-quality, professional advice on claims issues from start to finish. How you'll make an impact Manage a caseload of Property claims on a delegated authority basis from start to finish Advise and update clients on relevant events and discussions throughout their claim, ensuring complete customer satisfaction during potentially stressful times Regularly assess the status of claims with clients, insurers, and/or their advisors/solicitors, providing updates and informing them of any additional information acquired during the claims process Offer appropriate technical advice to clients throughout the duration of the claim Encourage, show compassion, and effectively manage client expectations Continuously develop and maintain your knowledge of the market, insurance, legislation, and other technical areas Run claims efficiently and keep the system updated with all relevant information Ensure that claims statistics are accurate and produced in accordance with SLAs About You Ambitious to learn a technical insurance role and develop a career in the insurance industry Previous experience within the insurance industry from different claims areas would be considered Strong client service drive, along with forward planning and analytical skills Exceptional communication skills, task-focused, and keen to develop your career Ability to identify potential risks and seek advice when required, applying due diligence and adhering to company processes Strong interpersonal skills, able to show initiative when assisting team members Eligible to work in the UK #LI-PH1 Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
