The Royal Scots Club is a Members Club and Hotel with a variety of events spaces, located in the heart of Edinburghs New Town.
The role of Reception, Events and Finance Administrator is a 9-5, Monday to Friday position and would suit an experienced hotel receptionist with reservations and reception admin experience.
Previous experience using Rezlynx/ Guestline would be helpful.
The tasks involve the following
Managing the reception staffing rota
Reception holiday/ sickness cover as required
Managing and overseeing reservation bookings, particularly group bookings
Supervise and train the reception team to ensure that all front office procedures are followed
Reconciling pay ins received from bars and restaurants daily and completing daily banking
Compile daily, weekly and monthly finance spreadsheets including reports for credit/debit card payments for presentation to the management accountant.
Manage Petty Cash
Manage the Debtors List
Process all online shop orders
Assist the Events Coordinator with event planning and administration
