A highly respected and inclusive secondary school in Gloucester is looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position, open to both experienced teachers and ECTs who are passionate about Music and eager to contribute to a creative and engaging curriculum. As a Music Teacher, you’ll be supported by an established department with excellent resources including recording studios, practice rooms, and a performance hall. Your responsibilities as a Music Teacher will include: * Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, with the potential for A-Level teaching * Leading classroom-based lessons that integrate performance, composition, and music theory * Preparing students for concerts, showcases, and external performances * Inspiring a lifelong love of music and performance in students * Supporting extra-curricular activities including ensembles, choirs, or school musicals * Working closely with other teachers in the Arts faculty The ideal Music Teacher will: * Have a degree in Music and QTS/PGCE * Be confident in delivering a wide range of musical genres and techniques * Be proactive, creative, and dedicated to high standards of teaching * Enjoy working in a collaborative and inclusive environment This is a fantastic opportunity for a Music Teacher to be part of a school that celebrates student voice, expression, and creativity
