Our Client is a highly respected Asset Finance Funder and theyve asked us to find an Operations Team Leader to join their growing business. You will be responsible for the leading their team, ensuring that workload is managed appropriately, and that training is delivered in a structured manner. The successful candidate will lead by example, foster a collaborative team culture and work closely with the head of department to maintain high standards of service and performance, and deliver improvement projects to continuously improve the departments function. Key responsibilities will include: Drive a high performing and collaborative team culture, ensuring the team is operating efficiently and in-line with department expectations Conduct regular 1 to 1 meetings to review progress, set goals and provide feedback and coaching for development Deliver structured training to new and existing team members, particularly related to systems and process, and their ongoing evolution Check and authorise work produced by team to ensure accuracy and identify potential training areas. Monitor mailbox outputs to ensure emails are being responded to within SLA and contain appropriate responses and resolutions to queries. Produce, analyse and present departmental reports, to track performance, identify trends and support decision making. Escalate complex matters appropriately, whilst maintaining ownership of outcomes. Proactively identify operational issues, then implement and communicate effective solutions. The people management side of this role is very important, so we are keen to speak with candidates with proven experience in this area. Whilst experience in the asset finance industry would be preferred, we can consider other areas of Banking/Financial Services.
