Job Title: Drivers Mate with CSCS Card Location: Hemel Hempstead Salary: £12.75 per hour, Overtime £19.10 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:20am starts We are currently recruiting for a Drivers Mate with CSCS Card to join a well established company specialising in the delivery and installation of kitchens for new build developments. This is a hands on role working alongside a driver delivering kitchen units and products to construction sites across the region. The role would suit someone with experience in delivery work, labouring, site work, removals, warehouse work, or a similar physical role. About the Role You will be supporting the driver with daily deliveries to residential construction sites, helping unload products safely and ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and professionally. What You’ll Do • Assist with loading and unloading kitchen products • Support the driver with deliveries to construction sites • Carry products into plots and site locations • Follow health and safety procedures on site • Work as part of a delivery team to complete scheduled deliveries • Ensure products are handled carefully during transport and unloading What We’re Looking For • Valid CSCS card required • Previous experience in a physical or delivery based role preferred • Good teamwork and communication skills • Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling • Able to reliably travel to Hemel Hempstead for 5:20am starts • Experience working on construction sites or with deliveries would be beneficial Who Might Suit This Role This role could suit candidates with previous experience as a Drivers Mate, Driver’s Assistant, Delivery Porter, Driver Labourer, Warehouse Labourer, Site Labourer, Construction Labourer, Removals Porter, Delivery Assistant, Installer Mate or Warehouse Operative.
