HLTA : Intervention and Academic Support Specialist
Aspire People are seeking a skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to focus on targeted intervention and raising attainment within a primary school.
This role is perfect for a HLTA who enjoys working closely with small groups and making a measurable impact on pupil progress.
The Role:
Delivering structured intervention sessions in Maths, English, and phonics
Supporting pupils working below or towards age:related expectations
Planning and adapting intervention resources where required
Monitoring, assessing, and tracking pupil progress
Supporting SATs preparation (KS1/KS2)
Working closely with teachers and senior leaders to raise attainment
The Ideal Candidate:
HLTA qualification or strong equivalent experience
Proven experience delivering interventions in a primary setting
Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum
Confident working independently with small groups
Organised, proactive, and results:driven
