Graduate Science Teaching Assistant
Full-time, long term position starting from September
Monday–Friday, 32.5 hours per week during term-time only
Earn up to £560 per week as a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant
School located in central Liverpool with great transport links
Science graduates with a 2:1 degree or higher encouraged to apply
Biology, Chemistry or Physics graduates highly desirable
Support KS3 & KS4 students in and out of the classroom
Gain hands-on experience working with outstanding Science teachers
Ideal preparation for Teacher Training starting from September 2026

This Graduate Science Teaching Assistant role is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Science graduate to gain meaningful school-based experience ahead of teacher training. You’ll support students in lessons, assist with practical experiments, and work closely with learners who may need additional academic or behavioural support in the subject.
This is a full-time role during term-time only, and the school is keen to recruit someone with a genuine interest in education and the drive to develop professionally. As a valued member of the Science department, you will receive mentoring and support from experienced staff who are committed to developing future educators.
