Overview
Lead Marketing Manager – PC/Console studio – Hybrid Working. A North-East based Games studio is currently looking for a Lead Marketing Manager to join their growing team. Founded by established industry experts, the team is made up of award-winning developers with AAA backgrounds and a history of releasing high-quality games.
As a member of the Marketing team, you will help plan future releases and liaise with internal PR, Social Media, and Product Teams to communicate project news. You will have influence across the studio, working with community, development, press and media, and contributing to the Marketing Strategy of the business.
Responsibilities
You will be tasked with creating, analysing and monitoring campaigns across the studio’s portfolio to drive engagement and visibility across the full product lifecycle. You will generate press releases, proofread content, manage key art, and execute all communications between the studio and its players. You will also manage a small team of 2 Community Managers and a Video/Trailer Artist.
Interfacing with clients, consumers and media; collaborating with internal PR, Social Media and Product Teams; and shaping marketing strategy are key parts of the role.
Requirements
* Strong experience in the games industry, especially on PC and Console
* Past managerial or mentoring experience
* An excellent track record of successful marketing campaigns
* Ability to interface with clients, consumers and media
* Experience with reviewing marketing assets before they go live
* Highly approachable with good networking ability
Work arrangement & eligibility
This is a hybrid role with ideally 3 days onsite (and 2 days remote). We can consider candidates who can make 1 day onsite per week. You must be eligible to live and work in the UK as we cannot sponsor visas or offer fully remote options.
