The Junior-Level Financial Analyst can demonstrate a strong working knowledge in business intelligence, data science and predictive analytics to help drive and measure growth of new business initiatives. The Junior Financial Analyst helps provide decision-making by analyzing financial outcomes, managing budgets, and reporting monthly results. The Analyst will work closely with financial and operational teams across the organization to build businesses. • Key Skills/Knowledge: • Awareness with Tech Skills – SQL and system automation • Assist with budgeting and forecasting of expense and revenue • Run profitability and performance reports for the month end analysis • Book journal entries and estimates • Track and analyze performance of key initiatives • Work with operating divisions to manage costs • Soft skills – Work cross functionally, establish vision, build alignment on approach, incorporate feedback being able to tell a story • Provide strong verbal and written communication skills. • Provide strong customer service skills with a focus client satisfaction • Provide a high level of problem analysis and resolution skills • General Knowledge of P& L Forecast / Accrual Analysis, Trend Analysis, Variance Analysis, and Sensitivity (scenario’s) Analysis • Awareness with Excel Modeling (Tableau ) • Experience/Qualifications: • 2 – 3 years of experience (or equivalent) • Data Analytics as part of a small team (not individual contributor) • Experience in an Agile Team (stand-ups, retros, demos) • Strong Communication skills (concise, clear, assertive) • Robust Presentation Skills (client presentations, drawing conclusions) • AAT or CIMA certification, financial planning and analysis Nice To have: • Techincal Skills: • Web reporting • Essbase working knowledge, using it with supporting DB • Soft Skills: • Substantial knowledge of Project Mgmt principles • Experience working with financial models/budgets a plus
