Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team, with the opportunity to teach courses in ICT and T Level Digital Software Development. The successful candidate will manage a teaching load in line with their contract, taking responsibility for delivering high‑quality teaching, learning, and assessment. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of educational standards, ensuring positive outcomes and a great experience for students within the College.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
To succeed in this role, you will need a degree or relevant professional experience in Digital or Computer Science, along with a strong track record of excellent teaching that effectively meets the needs of diverse learners. The ability and willingness to teach across a range of courses and levels—including Level 2 and 3 qualifications, A Levels, Cambridge Technical, and T Levels—is essential. Industry experience in the computing sector is highly desirable.
Teaching Qualifications & Salary Banding
To be eligible for our Qualified Lecturer salary banding (£30,583 – £46,263), you must hold one of the following teaching qualifications:
* ✅ DTTLS (Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector)
* ✅ Certificate in Education
* ✅ PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education)
* ✅ DET (Diploma in Education and Training)
* ✅ DiT (Diploma in Teaching) – if for a vocational subject
If you do not hold one of the above qualifications, you will fall into our Unqualified Lecturer salary banding (£25,611 – £28,817).
