The Opportunity
We’re working with a market-leading Employment, Pensions & Immigration team who are looking to bring in an Employment Solicitor (1-3 PQE) to their Liverpool office.
You’ll be joining a team that works with some of the UK’s best-known employers, handling a really interesting mix of work across employment, pensions and immigration. It’s a great chance to get stuck into high-quality matters while building strong client relationships.
The Role
This is a varied role where you’ll manage your own caseload while also supporting the wider team. You’ll be advising clients on day-to-day HR and employment law issues, as well as getting involved in tribunal work and advocacy.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Managing your own caseload of employment matters
2. Advising clients on HR and employment law issues
3. Attending and supporting Employment Tribunal hearings (including advocacy)
4. Drafting documents such as tribunal responses, witness statements and general correspondence
5. Supporting colleagues on more complex matters when needed
6. Getting involved in client training, networking and business development
7. Working towards billing targets and keeping to internal processes
What They’re Looking For
8. 1-3 years’ PQE in employment law
9. Solid experience handling employment matters
10. Advocacy experience is a bonus, but not essential if you’re keen to develop it
11. Strong communication and organisational skills
12. Someone who can juggle priorities and work to deadlines
13. A team player with a proactive approach
