Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with precision to create high-quality metal products. The successful applicant will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings and specifications while ensuring all work meets industry standards.
Responsibilities
* Perform TIG and Stick welding on various materials, ensuring strong and clean welds.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for fabrication tasks.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand project requirements.
* Fabricate components from CR4 sheet metal, ensuring accuracy in measurements and assembly.
* Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with specifications.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
* Proven experience in welding, particularly in TIG and MIG welding techniques.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various fabrication equipment.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the fabrication process.
* Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.
* Experience in assembly processes related to metal fabrication is advantageous.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
