Job Title: SEN Tutor

£20 - £25 per hour
Job Duties:
1. Provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
2. Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' specific needs and abilities.
3. Deliver lessons using a variety of teaching methods to engage and support SEN students.
4. Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
5. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for SEN students.
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with SEN students
- Knowledge of SEN support strategies
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience working as a SEN tutor or in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different learning styles and SEN conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Experience working with a diverse range of SEN students
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Work primarily in educational settings such as schools or learning centres
- Potential travel to different locations to provide support to SEN students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
