About the Role
We are recruiting Kitchen Porters to join our client in. This is a fast-paced role supporting a busy kitchen team over the autumn/winter period.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and sterilise countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks
Deep clean the kitchen at the end of service to prepare for the next day
Maintain food storage areas, including freezers and refrigerators
Receive and organise deliveries
Wash dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and load/unload the dishwasher
Remove and dispose of kitchen waste correctly
Clean and maintain cooking equipment (cookers, pots, mixers)
Assist chefs with basic food prep (peeling, washing, cutting)
Support prep cooks and other kitchen staff as required
Requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual and a good team player
Previous kitchen/hospitality experience advantageous but not essential
Availability for flexible shifts across the assignment period
What We Offer
Hourly rate: £12.21
Shift Pattern: 8–10 hour shifts between 06:30 – 18:30
Weekly pay (Friday)
