Retail Customer Service Apprentice at Cathay Group
Exciting times! Cathay Investments Limited retail shop, DFL Direct, has recently opened at our Head Office in Croydon, and we are currently looking for a confident, enthusiastic, and driven individual to manage the shop daily, as well as conduct telesales. We are offering a Retail Customer Service Apprentice position, where you will gain hands-on experience selling our products face-to-face and via phone, along with support to qualify for a Level 3 Customer Service Apprenticeship.

As a Retail Customer Service Apprentice, some of your main responsibilities will include:
* Greeting customers and assisting with product inquiries
* Handling various payment methods securely
* Managing returns, exchanges, and complaints professionally
* Resolving concerns or complaints efficiently and courteously, whether in person or via telephone
* Promoting offers and building customer relationships to encourage repeat business
* Restocking and labeling products, and performing telesales when required
This role requires you to be in the shop from Tuesday to Saturday. We offer long-term career opportunities in a supportive work environment. Our Apprenticeship Scheme provides 20% study time per week, helping you achieve a nationally recognized retail customer service qualification while supporting your learning and development. You will need strong customer service skills and a minimum of one year retail experience.
