Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated CustomerService Representative to join our team. Inthis position you are responsible for performing all tasks andcommunication related to intake of patient information concerningthe service of durable medical equipment and respiratory productsand supplies with patients/clients coworkers and referral sourcesas it relates to patient services and third partyreimbursement.

* Assists withupdating respiratory grid
* Clears previous daysroute and checks all paperwork for accuracy andcompleteness
* Communicates withpatients/clients and referral sources both verbally and in writingto ensure patient/client questions and concerns are processed in atimely manner
* Completes SOPs/CMNs anddocuments on tracking log
* Complies with allapplicable company policies and procedures to meet JCAHO andcompany standards
* Coordinates all patientinformation processes paperwork including preparation of file forBilling Department and completes batch reports for UPSdeliveries
* Maintains referral log
* Monitors office supplies
* Preparesdeposit for location on a weekly basis
* Prepares invoices for next day routes
* Processes paperworkconfirms tickets inputs new patientsetups and assembles charts
* Provides servicefor all retail/walkin equipment requests
* Provides technical assistance to customers
* Verifies Medicare Medicaid and private insurance coverageinformation
* Works with outside agencies toresolve customer issues
* May be required tocover on call drive a company vehicle and make deliveries topatients homes
* Performs other duties asassigned
Qualifications:
Employment is contingenton
* Backgroundinvestigation (companywide)
* Drug screen(when applicable for the position)
* Valid drivers license in state of residence with a cleandriving record (when applicable for theposition)
Required Education and/orExperience
* High schooldiploma or GED equivalent required
Preferred Education and/orExperience
* Experience withmedical equipment preferred
* Experience withmedical billing practices and of billing reimbursementpreferred
* Experience in medical field andadministrative record management preferred
* Oneyear of related work experience preferred
* Medical terminology preferred
